My Last Wedding in 2020
This year has been one of the most interesting year of my life. From a personal stand point all the way to a business stand point. Everything changed overnight and unexpectedly.
This wedding meant so much to me because I got to work with this amazing couple from California, coming to Utah to celebrate their special day. They found me as I was looking for clients to fill out some of the days left from the season because a big portion of my business went down or moved their dates into 2021. Brianna’s mother found me and immediately called me because she thought I would be the right DJ for her daughter. Let me tell you, she was right.
After my initial call with Bri, I knew she really wanted to have an amazing wedding planned, and she was willing to put together a great team around her to help her and Robert make their dream wedding come true even during covid. She chose a beautiful place called CACTUS & TROPICALS Located in Draper, Utah. From the beautiful speeches to the beautiful decor, the vibe was right and setup for a great evening celebration. The food was amazing and all the staff at CACTUS & TROPICALS was very helpful and professional. It was a great collaboration and I was so thankful to have been a part of this. When the reception started, everybody was ready to dance, and help Bri and Robert celebrate. With a curated playlist, I was able to make sure to play the right songs at the right time. No one wanted to leave the dance floor and some even complain at the end because they wanted to keep partying all night long. Bri had me provide beautiful uplight so help enhance the environment and set the mood right. I had a blast and I couldn’t be happier to see the whole family have a good time.
The best part about all of this is receiving a text message from Brianna saying this:
“ Hey! I just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have got so many compliments with how great you were at the wedding. Everyone had a freaking blast and you kept the party going. It was so awesome. Is there someone I could leave a review for you?? “
“ I want everyone to know how great it was. None of us can stop talking about how good of a party is was! We all had SO much fun and you were playing the jams!! “
I think that was the best compliments I received knowing everything that happened this year.
