What to know ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah
This weekend will be a great Week / Weekend for the state of Utah. A lot of people will be in town and, for a big majority of them, this will be their first time in Utah.
This will be a great opportunity for us locals to show the world the best of what Salt Lake City has to offer. Festivities will kick off on Friday February 17th, and continue throughout the weekend, creating several opportunities for your family to join the celebration.

First thing first, preparation is key.
Always figure out a way to bring maximum value to all our visitors in a very unique and creative way. A lot of people coming to town will not necessarily go to all the activities happening at Vivint Arena, but they will look around to see what else is around them that they can add to their itinerary.
I think the key to getting ahead and ready for this major event, is to start positioning yourself now. Make it as easy as possible for anyone to find you and what you have to offer. If you need to update your website, or make a specific post on your social media for this weekend, I think that will be very beneficial to anyone who’s looking for your services.
Network with your local vendors, and figure out how you can help each other, maybe create a referral network, to make sure you always have a solution for the different needs of all those people coming to our city.
Expect celebrities to also be part of your clientele, so be ready for anything. We should expect people from all walks of life and all kinds of industries, so I am personally excited about it.
Most people coming here will come to enjoy NBA events, but also enjoy our city. We have a lot to offer and we should show that case in the best way possible. Let’s have as many events as possible and celebrate this win for our city. Whether you want to focus on the people going and staying in Park City, vs the crowd Downtown, there’s plenty happening.
