Business Advice To Help You Get Through Tough Times

2020 started to be on the best year fo many people in my network and myself, until we a ll got shut down. Overnight everything stopped, no more events, no more inquiries, no more pay checks and not a clear sight of when things will get better. As a business owner and Entrepreneur, I have been through so many tough and dark time in my business years. One of the most important things I learn during those times is to remain calm. To help deal with Covid-19, wether you are in the business world or not, I put together a list of suggestion to help you go through those tough times.

1- Stay Calm

It is impossible to make sound decisions when you are panicking.

2- Focus on what you can control

Focus on staying in touch with you clients / Customer

Exercise social Distancing

Focusing on providing valuable content backed by reputable resources to help ease the panic.

Focus on what you can do to improve your skills, your website, your business etc…

If you are in need of cash to do Payroll or keep the doors open, find a way to use the local resources to see how you can use them. Do you have a bank you work with ? If so go talk to them. Tell them you would like to be in a position to get a loan, possibly an SBA loan, if and when the gov guarantees small bus loans. I would also go to your state’s .gov site and look for any emergency loan opportunities.

Exercise.

3- Stay Proactive

Nothing is going to fall on your lap. You need to be out and about. Make phone calls to people in your community, ask questions, visit government website to find a way to take control of your own situation.

4- Focus on service

Check on your friends, neighbors business partners to make sure they are also staying proactive. The best way to deal with this is by s haring valuable information and helping each other.

I hope those suggestion will help, please feel free to jump on the comments if you have anymore ideas. It’s going to be ok.
